Guest blog and Giveaway with Kathy Kulig

Demons in Exile. Why are they Exiled?
By Kathy Kulig

Thanks so much for having me as a guest today on your blog. And thanks to the readers for checking out my post.

If you’re not familiar with the series, I thought I’d give you inside scoop of that the demons did that got them in so much trouble. Enough bad stuff to get them exiled between dimensions for eternity.

These are the three books in the series and Book three came out on August 15 at Ellora’s Cave.  http://www.jasminejade.com/p-10267-damned-and-defiant.aspx

Desert of the Damned, Book one
Damned and Desired, Book two
Damned and Defiant, Book three

On planet Prygos two rulers, immortal demons Gwyllain and her husband Cragen do not get along. Gwyllain takes on lovers but fears her husband will discover her betrayal.

She seeks the skills of their top scientist and engineer to design a secret mini alternative world for her. An escape island hidden between dimensions where she can take her lovers, including the engineer Tarik. Tarik creates the artificial world which is about the size of an island and surrounded by a small sea.

But Cragen’s spies discovers the love nest and exposes her. Cragen has his engineers restructure the mini world so that it will become a prison for his wife, her lovers and loyal servants.

This world was designed in such a way that Tarik and Gwyllain can never leave it and must have frequent sex with other drones and transfer their life energy into the world in order to survive. They become conduits of energy the life force that holds the world together. They become so busy collecting this vital energy (having sexual encounters with their drone servants) that they don’t have time to make love with each other.
Adequate punishment for an unfaithful wife, Cragen believes. Cragen gets his perverse revenge.

The miniature world of Anartia travels through the universe and has been trapped in a dimension outside of Earth so the demon servants have access to mortal lifeforce energy.

A few mortals are assimilated as drones to do the demoness’s bidding. Dante is one of those drones. He’s a character, a tormented one, in all three books. Part demon, part human and immortal, struggling with doing what’s right, struggling with his own survival, and torn between his world and the woman he loves.

Blurb: Mortal women surrender to Dante’s seductions. He is a Drone, an immortal who feeds off their lifeforce energy—the chi that keeps his kind alive. When his dimension is on the edge of destruction, Dante must seek the help of one special woman.

Haley Moore is a Sha Warrior—a mortal with excess lifeforce energy. She has always had a strong attraction to Dante and when they meet again he thinks luck is on his side because his quota of chi energy would be obtained after one scorching scene with this mortal. But the problem is that he is overwhelmingly attracted to her and once with this woman won’t be enough.

Haley tries to draw out the man buried deep within the demon. Their fierce, undeniable passion unravels his plans and threatens her life. Can Dante bear to abandon her when he leaves Earth forever? Dante will have to choose whether to return to his world or to give up his immortality and share his future with Haley.

Thank you for the background of the series, as I haven't read any of them yet *hanging head in shame*

If the house Kathy lives in is 100 years old AND is built with old tombstones, then is it haunted?! What a unique, cool-sounding home!
