Who's Your Favorite Vampire Bad Boy by K.A. Last

Hi Roxanne, and thanks for hosting my Fall For Me tour stop today. I’ve always been one to gravitate towards the bad-boy whether it’s in a book, on the big screen, or in my favourite TV show. There’s something about the fictional bad-boy that gets my heart racing. That’s probably due to a combination of excitement, the fact that they’re usually hot-damn sexy, and wanting something I can’t have. You can’t blame a girl for fantasising, right?

Today I’d like to share with everyone my top five vamp bad-boys that aren’t Edward Cullen. Now, I’m the first to admit that I love Twilight, but I’m also first to admit that I prefer my vamps mean and bad-ass over sparkly. Still, one sparkly vamp made my list, but he’s mean and eats people.

5. Eric Northman
True Blood – Played by Alexander Skarsgård
When I first started watching True Blood, I was all for Bill, but as the seasons went along, Eric came into his own for me. Hmmm … muscles and fangs make the perfect combination. Who wouldn’t want a vamp like this chewing on their neck?

4. Jerry
Fright Night – Played by Colin Farrell
Just look at him! Enough said.

3. Riley Biers
Twilight – Played by Xavier Samuel
Ok, so he sparkles, but look at that face.

2. Angel/Angelus
Buffy The Vampire Slayer – Played by David Boreanaz
Angel is a tortured soul, but when Angelus arrives on the scene—look out! He comes in at a very close second, but only because this tragic hero—when he has his soul—is a little on the soft side. Like I said, I like them mean. But … that hair! I just want to run my fingers through it.

1. Spike
Buffy The Vampire Slayer – Played by James Marsters
Spike is my number one bad boy. He is make-your-skin-go-all-goose-bumpy sexy. Then there’s the wit, the humour, and that look in his eyes. Plus, when he is mean, there’s no half-assed about it. Even when he gets his soul back, he’s still got the swag.

I’d love to know who your number one vamp bad-boy is, and why.

“Angels aren’t supposed to fall in love, especially with each other. But for the record, you were worth it.”

Grace Tate is a Protection Angel and Vampire Hunter, and she has always followed the rules. But some rules are made to be broken…

Until now the fight against evil has been simple, and falling in love was never part of the plan. So what happens when it’s beyond Grace’s control, and when she least expects it she falls for the wrong person?

All hell breaks loose, that’s what.

At Hopetown Valley High, not everything is as it seems, and the one person Grace thought was her enemy becomes her most important ally.

Blood will be shed, lives will be lost and friendships will be tested. It all comes down to one decision, and when Grace tries to save all those dear to her, she realises not everyone can be—or wants to be—saved.

(My fave vamp bad boy in this list is Spike- while the Angel/Buffy love was epic, Spike chose to be a good guy and do good things even without a soul, then he chose to get his soul back- now that's a bad boy with aheart of gold.  Plus thta accent and snarky sense of humor- love it. But my current fave vamp bad boy who didn't make the list- (OMG how could he not make this list) is Damon Salvatore played by Ian Somerhalder. Now that's one gorgeous vampire bad boy *drool*) ~Roxanne

I know this is probably hard to believe, but I haven't actually read the Vampire Diaries, but it is on my TBR, and we don't have it on free to air TV in Aus. I might have to get my hands on some DVDs.
