I felt that Buffy was done with such aplomb with the wit and humor blended into the horror, you just gotta admire Josh Whedon's style.

I do have Dark Heirloom ebook, and have it on my TBR list. But I had to read the first two chapters and can't wait to get back to it (^;

Wishing you the best of luck, Jennifer!Lorelei Bellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03294047277447613989noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2550157220540446805.post-5828879316252887052012-04-07T13:47:31.267-04:002012-04-07T13:47:31.267-04:00TC - thanks for stopping by. To answer your questi...TC - thanks for stopping by. To answer your questions:

1. I wrote some poetry in high school just to cope with the drama of being a teenager. Now I write poetry when I want to take a little break from fiction or to flex my writing muscles by writing in verse. But fiction/novel length I didn't start until about 3-4 years ago when I started with Dark Heirloom.

2. No not yet, but I'm working on it! The paperback edition will be out soon.

3. Yes, I'm planning on going to the Flint Fang Fest (which includes the Flint Horror Con and the Flint Vampire Ball) in October with Roxanne Rhodes/Bewitching Book Tours. This is set to take place in October in Flint, MI. I will have more details available closer to the date.

4. Besides entertaining myself with a vampire story, I wanted to share the experience with everyone else too. There are so many elements wrapped up in Dark Heirloom, it's impossible to list them all in an interview. There are themes like family and loss and death and passion and growth. Things that we all can relate to that make the characters more human than they realize. I hope anyone who reads it experiences the emotions of the characters and the story. Any emotion at all, even if it's anger or hate. If I can make my readers feel something then I've done my job.J. D.
