He’s tall, well-built, devastatingly handsome, and he flies. No, he’s not Superman.
Rion is an angel. Or, at least, that’s what we here on Earth have been calling his kind for thousands of years. Actually, Rion is a Lord of Thunder, an elite group of trained warriors who travel through "rifts" that appear between our world and his whenever an enormous storm occurs. Their job is to spy on us. To watch us and our developing technology, because they know that one day someone from Earth will find a way—either purposefully or accidentally—to travel through the rifts and land on his world.
When and if that should happen, the civilizations of two worlds will be forever changed.
But something goes very, very wrong on his next mission, and Rion is nearly killed when he plummets to the ground. It isn’t until a young woman named Annie finds him that he finally realizes he has a reason to live...and love.
Lord of Thunder is an erotic fantasy romance novel, and Book 1 of the "Thunder" trilogy now available from Whiskey Creek Press Torrid.
The premise for the series is: Annie Mayall was a young bride, brought to Montana in 1940 by her new husband to start their new life together...as soon as he struck it rich in the promised silver mines. Abandoned for three long desperate and lonely years, Annie was forced to survive by herself in the wilds of the mountains. Until one stormy night brought a severely wounded stranger to her tiny one-room cabin. A stranger both mystical and fascinating. A stranger who not only brought her happiness, but a kind of love she never knew existed.
A stranger who was not of this earth.
Warning: This book contains mutilation, abandonment, total isolation, harsh and unbearable weather, blood-letting, attempted homicide, attempted angel-cide, snoopy but concerned neighbors, close confinement, promises kept, and unusual uses for a feather.
Book 2, Passion of Thunder, debuts September 15th. The final book of the trilogy, Wings of Thunder, will be available December 15th.
Anyone up for a freebie?
I will be giving away a copy of LORD OF THUNDER to someone who comments on the blog. :)

Hi Linda...you had me at well-built :-) Great concept!! What not to love about hot warrior angels!! Adding to my TBR list annhon@aol.com
Jeez, sounds like that books has everything. I'd love to read it. If it's not an ebook, I even have a cloth paperback cover to use. I love fantasy-type erotic books. When I went to Fang-tastic Books, I thought it would be a vampire, not an angel. Intriguing.
