A Review of The Scot, the Witch and the Wardrobe by Annette Blair
Five Fangs for The Scot, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Annette Blair has done it again. The third book in her witch series, The Scot, the Witch, and the Wardrobe is funny, sexy and magical. Blair always delivers sizzling stories full of humor, fun, snappy dialogue and steamy encounters.
In this installment Victoria Cartwright, owner of the vintage clothing shop, The Immortal Classic (if you've read the other two books in the series you'll be familiar with both Victoria and her store) has finally decided to test her fate and see if the family heirloom key will open the wardrobe.
The family legend says that the woman who can open the wardrobe will inherit the powers of Lili, the family matriarch and most powerful witch in the line. Not only will the one that opens the wardrobe inherit the magic she will also meet her destiny...whatever that means.
Victoria, who claims not to be a witch, finally tries the key...and the wardrobe opens. Inside she finds a beautiful hand carved unicorn from an old carousel that she learns is worth a fortune, though she doesn't want to sell it.
Soon after Victoria finds the unicorn the man of her dreams, literally, walks into her store. A gruff Scot full of cockiness and attitude Rory isn't looking for romance he just wants the unicorn so he can end the curse on his family. Too bad he falls for Victoria instantly.
The two can't seem to stand each other though they can't stay apart either and keep finding themselves in each others arms both in dreams and in reality.
Will Victoria ever accept that she's a witch and that she's beautiful and can Rory break the family curse without breaking Victoria's heart?
Only time will tell if they can overcome a past that's not even theirs and live out their dreams in reality.
Who can resist a Scottish brogue and a man in a kilt? Not me! Yummy. Scottish men are sexy and Rory is no exception.
Blair has a way with men and magic.
Her books are always highly entertaining and charged with such energy, emotion and fun. They always leave you satisfied with the story you just finished yet wanting more at the same time. Just like good sex. The better it is, the more you want. And Blair delivers just like a good lover. She'll keep me coming back for more...of her books.

I've read the first one in this series and I really liked it but I have yet to read the others. Can't wait to get to this one though :)
