Lover Avenged by J.R.Ward
J.R Ward has created some of the sexiest vampires in all of literarydom.
Where LKH's men are beautiful, sometimes feminine, or metrosexual in their demeanor and beauty Ward's are all male, 100% beefcake, downright sexy-flaws and all.
Big, mean, sexy, masculine...damn these fanged hotties get me hot and Ward writes with such a masculine ferocity it makes me wonder what kind of guys she hangs with cause I want to join the party.
Anyway I just received my review copy of Lover Avenged and can't wait to start reading it. I hope to finish Annette Blair's Gone with the Witch tonight or tomorrow then I am reading Lover Avenged.
I am so sorry for the books that have been in line waiting patiently for me to get to them, Lover Avenged just will not sit quietly and wait- no it will taunt and tease and torture me until it is read.
Someone on Vampire Wire once referred to J.R Ward's books as book crack, as in addiction city, can't get enough, I'll freaking snort it, stick it, smoke it or whatever to have more (figuratively speaking of course). Yes, The Black Dagger Brotherhood series is THAT addicting.

Whoever used that book crack line is totally right :-D. I've been rather disappointed in the last two books yet here I am, googling like a maniac trying to find reviews of Lover Avenged. Lucky you to have received a copy! I heard publishers are sending way fewer review copies these days. I'll be checking your blog for your review ;).
I too can't wait to read your review. I can only hope this book is better than the last one. Have a great week.
The last one was my least favorite because I am not a fan of Phury, he is my least favorite brother (Butch and Vicsious are my faves) but so far Lover Avenged is interesting- so far so good
You're so lucky! I am dying to read Rhevs book, I just love him
My least favorite was Lover Unbound because I felt that V wasn't at all like the V from the other books, the resolution of his beautiful relationship with Butch was all botched up and incomplete, and I wasn't won over at all by his relationship with Jane (while I was always totally sold to the hero/heroine pairing in the other books). Phury I was never a big fan of, so I didn't care as much that his relationship was such a small part of the book's focus and that it fell flat. The double-personality disorder that popped out of the blue with the Wizard did annoy me big time, though.
I'm glad Lover Avenged seem to be better than LEn...if this one had been another miss, I might have forsaken the series entirely.
