Free Book Friday: The Zen of Zombie, Better Living Through the Undead

Do you struggle out of bed each morning and sway lifelessly across the room, mouth agape, arms hanging slack, murmuring unintelligibly? Well, take heart: you’re not alone! But these other staggering, limp, perpetually drowsy folks just happen to be zombies—and it turns out they can teach us a lot about enjoying life. And only here, between the covers of this book, will you learn their secrets to happiness. Learn how to slow down and move at your own pace, become your own boss, and just devour those irritating people who get in your way. And there’s more, because zombies can offer no-nonsense advice on love, playing to your strengths, and on becoming more adaptable.

Here's a hilarious book that explores how to have a better life by acting like a zombie. Too funny. I read throught he book for some laughs, it's humor you have to read to believe but it'll make your day. Especially if you are a zombie fan.

Zombies are the new in thing I guess. Not my cup of tea (I am a diehard vamp loving girl with a second place werewolf crush followed by a close third demon lover obession) but I suppose I can see some the appeal. Zombies don't think too much and they're all about action.

Plus they love girls with brains... too bad their only interest is the brains-as in they'll be enjoying how good they taste.

The Zen of Zombie: Better Living Through the Undead by Scott Kenmore, published by SkyHorse Publishing is this week's Free Book Friday Giveaway Book.

If you would like a chance to have this fun book as part of your undead, zombie lovers collection just leave a comment telling me what you think about zombies.

Make sure to leave contact info. US shipping only.

I too am a vamp fan, followed by witches and shifters. I have never read a zombie book, but after all the Zombie week hype, I am willing to try and see what I am missing.

I do not think I have ever read a zombie book either. I have seen my share of the movies out there. This looks like it would be a very interesting read!!

Ohmigosh, this is amazing! I will admit to being a little zombie-obsessed. Yes, yes, I love my vampires, but zombies are just great! I have World War Z, Zombie Survival Guide, even Pride and Prejudice and Zombies! I'd love a chance to win this, just to add to my collection!!

Thanks!

I'm a Mark Henry and Max Brooks reader, 28 Days Later, Night of the Living Dead movies and for some unexplainable reason the Zombieland movie is underlined 3 times and circle with stars on the calendar. I would say I'm a huge fan of Zombies.

I'm sure I've read about zombies (let's see, didn't I Am Legend contain sort of zombie/vampires?), but this one sounds delicious. I'm a big fan of tongue-in-cheek writing!

I have not read any Zombie books. I'm more of a vamp and shifter kind of gal. However I've watched tons of Zombie movies and loved all of them. Night of the Living Dead is still to this day one of my favorite movies. Zombies in books sounds like a wonderful read.

That's too funny! I think I've dated a few in the past, too.

This book is definitely one for all of you zombie fans. And for those who don't win this week, don't worry next week I have Z.E.O: A Zombies Guide to to Getting A(Head)In Business which is another hilarious zombie guidebook.

Zombies really are kind of getting to be in vogue. They are no longer the stuff of horror movies, not that I don't like those as well. They just have more personality these days. lol

Zombies are just the creepiest. They are monsters, but not like other creatures that used to be human like vampires. You can't reason with a zombie!

Zombies aren't quite as cuddly as your traditional Were, or as clever as a vampire, but zombies are the perfect scapegoat.

Who wrecked the car? A zombie.
Who's lipstick is on your collar? Not lipstick, zombie blood.
Who ate my dog? A zombie.

See, highly blameworthy.
