Well I love the Twilight seriesbut I think sometimes that there is too much media around it. I realize it's a "phenomenon" but geesh! Otherwise I'm a huge fan. We plan on seeing it in a few weeks when the congestion clears up...if not we'll wait till it's out on DVD.

I've read the Twilight series and despite loathing irritating and childish Bella (spoiled brat!) I liked it well enough. Meyers improved after book one, apparently having listened to the complaints about too many smiles, heartbeats and irritating Bella stuff.

The first movie wasn't bad, either, and I plan on seeing New Moon next week. Not on opening night, though.

I won't be going to see the movie unless it goes to the dollar cinema nearby. Not because I don't like the series. I actually liked the books despite the bad press but the movies don't compare.

Movies are so expensive these days too. I always ask myself does it have huge special effects that are worth seeing on a big screen? Or can I wait till it comes out on DVD?

Thanks for the giveaway!

Hi Roxanne :)
I am going to see New Moon on Tuesday night (it's only 4.44 for admission on that night).
I'm actually looking forward to seeing Dakota Fanning as a vampire though I understand her role is very small in this movie.
All the best,

I love the Twilight series and have my movie tickets for saturday. It turned me on to reading. I haven't read anything not school related since Harry Potter and now I read about 3 books a week.

I'll take my nieces to the movie for their birthdays later this month, but definitely not this weekend.

I'm glad the Twilight series is getting more people to read, but if I see one more ad mentioning it I might just lose my mind. I get it. People like it. I'm done with it. I will actually NOT buy a book if it says "if you like Twilight". LJ Smith did it first and I love her for it. : )

I haven't read the books or seen the first movie yet. My daughter has read all of them that are out and saw the first movie (which she didn't think was as good as the book) and she is going to see the new one today. So far she has liked the third book better than the others. I haven't made up my mind whether or not to read them.

I loved the books and liked the first movie ok. I do plan to see the new one next week too. My mom read the books too and wants to see the movie, but I asked if we could avoid opening weekend and catch a matinee next week. I'm not a big fan of huge crowds and obsessed, screaming girls.

I read Twilight but not the others. Twilight was good but I really couldn't get interested in New Moon. My daughter wants to go see it. I haven't decided yet.

I'm o.k. with the whole twilight saga. But Its over Hyped. The movie is good, but I've got two teenagers so im kind of used to the craziness of the tween seen.. But i do think with all the hype the movie is getting and the actors is more than it should be but it seems nowadays its that way constantly.. So we will deal, and we will not go this week. but we are on board to see it. 12 year olds cant get enough of it. Oh how i miss the good old days where movies werent side shows for the actors.

TGIF ladies!
I've read the Twilight series, and must say "Eclipse" was my favorite. I did see the 1st movie, and wasn't overly impressed. I'm with cfisher1504, books are better than the movies. I'll probably see New Moon in a few weeks, just because of the Volturi. They look mega-wicked.

Roxanne I'm so excited about the 25paranormal days of Christmas. Yay!

I won't be going to see the movie. Normally, I get in to these things when they happen, but this one sort of crept up on me and then blew right by. I'm not quite sure how it happened. Must have been a freak occurrence or something.

I am not a fan of the Twilight craziness. I didn't care for the books at all. I found them to be poorly written and disgustingly angsty. The movie was a slight improvement over the books, but that's not saying much. So I'm pretty much hiding out this weekend. I had wanted to see The Blind Side but the theaters will be crazy full so I'll catch Bullock's flick later this week.

I love this Saga. It was very refreshing, relaxing read. I should be at the Theatre right now, but I am instead taking caring of my grandfather so my mom can have some time off. My birthfay is Wednesday and hubby plans to take me then since I cant do it this week end. I think it will be worth the wait New Moon looks better than Twilight.

Well, I enjoyed the books but thought the movie was a major disappointment. I won't be going to see New Moon in theaters but I will rent it when it come out on dvd because I am curious to see if the acting is any better than the first one.

I love the series, both the books and movies. I will however wait till the hoopla dies down at the theater because I don't like being packed in or surrounded by giggling girls, thank you very much. lol

This series is going on my to buy list:) If I won the lotto, I would pay off mortgage and bills and take family including mom on a vacation to someplace that has pink sand, blue water and blue skys.

I love the Twilight series, but won't be going to see the film this weekend. I believe we'll go and see it Thanksgiving weekend. I love that such a lovely series has gotten so much attention.

I really enjoyed the Twilight saga. I think the books were really good to get young readers back into books and away from the TV and the internet. I think it has done wonders for the publishing industry too. I would really love to see New Moon this weekend, but I doubt I will. Too much writing to catch up on for NaNoWriMo.
