Book Blurb:
There’s no such thing as vampires…
Straight-laced Katarina Renót is well educated, logical and doesn’t believe vampires truly exist. But when a well deserved holiday in Europe turns into a torrid game of cat and mouse with a handsome stranger and her best friend is exhibiting signs of being allergic to daylight-Kat doesn’t think her life can get any stranger.
Every man has a weakness…Even an immortal…
Joseph Markus is an arrogant, wealthy entrepreneur who spends his free time as the raspy lead singer for the rock band “Slang” and seducing beautiful women. After decades of mourning the tragic death of the only woman he ever loved, vying to save his best friend from an unrelenting death wish- now he is accused of being a murderer.
An undeniable twist of fate…
Kat learns her Prince Charming is actually the “Prince of Darkness” and though she can’t resist falling for this sultry vampire, she still lives in denial. But when the lines are drawn, and Kat finds herself caught in the middle of a deadly plot for revenge she has only one choice--trust the seductive vampire who has captured her heart.
Despite his own arrogance, Joe finds himself inexplicably drawn to Kat. Her stubborn will to resist his seductive charms coupled with her endearing naiveté prove to be more than he bargained for and Joe soon realizes he is in way over his head.
But will love be enough to save their immortal souls from the grips of a twisted obsession?

What I love most about vampire fiction is probably the threat of danger. Even when the book/series has been more coemdic, there's always the chance thatsomeone will get hurt. The fact that the vamp is usually tall, dark and handsome is a plus too.

What's not to love about vampire fiction? I am so addicted to vampire fiction that I buy them every chance I get.
The threat of danger is a big one, you know he could do whatever he wants even if he is a 'good' vamp. The different special abilities they usually have including mesmerizing, seduction, speed and strength and lets not forget those fangs. Every time I read a vampire story I am always intrigued how the author is going to make that first bite of his lover unique and seductive/erotic.

What's not to like! Tall, dark, & handsome vampire, throw in some danger, immortality, powers, love bites, OH MY! Thanks for the giveaway! I would love to read Love Bleeds. bpatrick64113@sbcglobal.net
I love the dark parts of vampires. The need for blood to survive and the allergy to sunlight. It is a very dark and scary idea. I love that Joe is in a rock band! How funny! Thanks for the chance to win the book.

I love vampire fiction because I like that vampires remember what it was like to be human. They are usually tortured by their pasts. It makes them very interesting characters. I also like the danger element with vampire romance. You never know if they are attracted to a human because they have feelings for them or because they want their blood.

I love the combination of suspense, mystery, and fantasy. That's what makes vampire stories stand out for me because along with that other subgenres can play on those.

I have been a huge vampire fan for years, but I have to say that Buffy (TV series) is what really got me started and I wholly blame David Boreanaz for that! LOL I love the whole tortured soul/loving humans dichotomy! I also love that they are usually all about sex! LOL

I love vampire fiction for the many different great stories that authors come up with to tell us about this 'world' that most humans don't know about; as well as the chemistry between the couples.
Thanks for the contest/giveaway!

I do love some vampire fiction. I believe it's because of the danger. It has danger, seduction and a reality that we can never have so we read about it and the book puts us right into that reality. I really enjoy it and hope the writers don't get tired of writing about it. Please count me in this contest. I've been wanting to read this book so I'll just follow right along with her blog hop ;)
