Who doesn’t love a good story about a family of superheroes? I know I love a good man in tights that can pull off not being creepy while lurking in the shadows…
Natasha Larry here, and no, the character’s in Darwin’s Children don’t wear tights… yet, but they do manage to serve up a little justice in the small town of Jonesborough, Tennessee.
So, what is this book about anyway? Allow me to quote Pamela Roach, who summed it up pretty perfectly.
"Darwin’s Children is a great new paranormal YA. The author took abilities and gave them a new twist to make them fresh and exciting. The abilities have been seen more in vampires and other paranormal creatures in recent years. The characters with their powers are more reminiscent of X-Men than Twilight. But that doesn’t mean Darwin’s Children isn’t without its bite or two…
Darwin’s Children, while hilariously funny and romantic, is equal parts and awesome action book – the ultimate Good Vs. Evil showdown…with Haylee and Jaycie the ultimate avengers."
A little about me:
Natasha Larry was born in Fort Riley, Kansas and raised all over as a military brat. She currently resides in Huntsville, Alabama with her daughter and fiancĂ©. While she isn’t plotting world domination or writing, she enjoys filling her home with baked goods and collecting comic books with the scary vigor of a nine year old boy. She despises the self-righteous and appreaciates tongue in cheek humor.
