Caldwell Sisters - Book One - Lucianne Rivers

Still reeling from her mother’s death, news anchor Jane Caldwell’s life is upended further when she learns the father she lost twenty years ago is still alive. Her mother’s will unleashes a manhunt—the Caldwell sisters must find their father, or their mother’s estate will not be settled, and their questions about his disappearance will remain unanswered.

Jane’s search leads her to Guatemala to investigate a man who claims to be her father and heir to the family fortune. Needing a translator, she enlists enigmatic Harrison DeNeuve, a sexy ex-patriot with a penchant for wearing dark sunglasses in public.
As Jane struggles to reunite with her would-be father, Harrison fights to suppress his desire for Jane. He has a secret—one he’s sequestered himself in a third-world jungle hideaway to keep safe—and falling for Jane puts more than his heart at risk.

Jane finds two men in Guatemala—a father and a lover—but can she trust either of them?

Caldwell Sisters - Book Two - Lucianne Rivers

Santa Fe Police Detective Margo Caldwell needs a vacation, but the wild goose chase her mother’s death triggers isn’t quite what she had in mind. Margo and her sisters must locate their father, or the Caldwell estate will remain unsettled—and they’ll never know why their father didn’t return from the Gulf War.

Pursuing a lead, Margo heads to the Virgin Islands in search of Zach Caldwell. To navigate the waters of the Caribbean, she needs a boat and a captain. Too bad Captain Adrian Prince, with his mesmerizing muscles and wicked grin, may be gunrunner.

Adrian takes Margo on his delivery route to small islands near St. Thomas that hide more than wildlife, booze, and sexy boaters. On a remote, mangrove-ridden patch of sand, they find gun-toting Zach Caldwell.

When their mission turns deadly, Margo must save Adrian’s life—and her own—even if she loses her heart in the process.

Caldwell Sisters - Book Three - Lucianne Rivers

Heartsick over the untimely death of her mother, Allison Caldwell is blindsided again by the secret revealed in her mom’s will. Her supposedly dead father is alive, and she and her two sisters must find him in order to settle the Caldwell estate.

Robert Rivera, private investigator and former Navy SEAL, alerts Allison to new intel identifying her father as a P.O.W. in Afghanistan. With her sisters out of the country pursuing leads, Allison insists on heading to the war-ravaged country to find him. Robert doesn’t want his na├»ve client to take the risk. He knows what danger lays in that godforsaken land…he’s lived through it. Barely.

But Allison is determined to go, and Robert can’t let her travel alone. Reluctantly appreciative, Allison quickly realizes how much she needs his guidance and protection, and how deeply she longs for his love. Robert struggles to understand her effect on his battle-weary heart.

The path to Allison’s father is blocked by terrorists, traps and treachery—all demons of Robert’s past. Can he survive a second round with the enemy and keep Allison out of harm’s way?

I had my 1st daughter the day after I turned 18. I thought I was in love with her father. Turns out all he wanted was to be emotionally and physically abusive. I followed him around like a puppy and continued to support his bad habits until finally I fell into the bad habits myself. My daughter was taken away from me because I had gotten myself so involved in drugs that I just didn’t care anymore. I ended up in jail because of that boyfriend and when I got out I met a wonderful man. He took me in and helped me to see that not only was I ruining my life (I went from 155 pounds to 105 pounds in a couple months) but I was also ruining my daughter’s life. He was my rock, the angel I needed when I didn’t think I could do it on my own. I fell madly in Love (the real love this time). He helped me to get clean ( I have been for almost 10 years now!!!) and helped me to get my daughter back! As it turns out this wonderful man who came to my rescue was a friend of my brothers from high school. My brother actually had various pictures from throughout my childhood where he was in whether it be the background or up in the front of the pic with my brother and myself! I like to think that some divine power knew that I was going to need someone watching over me and he chose him. He asked me to marry him and we will have been married 8 years on October 25th. That is my Happily Ever After…from ragged drug addiction and losing my child to finding my guardian angel and being happily married with 3 wonderful children!

My husband and I married after dating for 6 years. Had 4 wonderful children, after some fertilty issues and numerous miscarriages. Have now been married almost 19 years, our children are all healthy, and my relationship with my hubby just keeps getting better and better.

I never dated in high school, I was the stereotypical wallflower. I had lots of friends & most of them were guys, but I was the girl who was the friend, never the girlfriend. Then in my second year at the local community college, I met a guy pumping gas at the local gas station. At first it was my typical guy friendship, but one night things got weird, he kissed me & started a 6 yr on again/off again relationship, that finally ended when I realized, that he was never going to marry me. Still waiting for my happily ever after.

Sad to say I dont have my HEA yet. For a while there I thought I did and was together with and engaged to the guy for a while. Until an unfortunate thing happened. He was young but had a heart attack. This did cause me to make quite the change in my life as well, I moved cities and found a new job that I like a lot better. But my HEA has been postponed while I find that perfect someone. I do love reading the stories though and dreaming of when my turn will come.

PS sorry if any of this had a downward turn to anyone. It really has worked out for the best with the exception of the postponed HEA.

My relationship story is not super exciting but am so glad I have the man I do! We worked together for a summer and became soulmate's without the love...he knew me inside and out better than anyone except my mother. We lost track of each other as I thought he had moved across the country. I met up with a mutual friends two years later and found out he was still in the area. I came home from college and we went out for pizza. We both realized that there was more than friendship there and we have been together ever since. We celebrated 17 years of marriage the beginning of this month!

Ok wow Kristina I am so happy for you to have found a good man to be there for you.
Not sure my love story is nearly as dramatic, but I still smile thinking of it.

A girlfriend of mine had a brother, always knew who he was but never saw him in that light before. Then he asks me to the school dance and since I couldn't be mean I said "sure". Too young to drive we hitched rides with friends, never really getting on a date. Then my senior year walking to class he asks me out (this time I enthusiastically agreed as we had been flirting for months). He can drive now so we go out to a movie, eat, get back and go for a walk around town as it was still early. We sat in the park looking at the stars and talking, connecting even more. When it was time to leave I asked him if he was going to kiss me, he was shy and didn't do anything but look at my mouth. So I grabbed a handful of his shirt and pulled him to me, and then I had the first kiss of a lifetime. The kind you read about that sends tingles down your soul and you know this is how it is supposto be. Six years later we got married in an open chappel in the mountains surrounded by family, friends, and a carpet of purple lupens. Now it has been another six years and we have a wonderful home with three beautiful children and a fun loving dog, and oh yes lots of kisses that still send tingles through my soul.

(your books sound wonderful. I hope they do very well for you!)

Even if you find an HEA, there is no guarantee it will last forever. I have been married for almost 35 years and we are still in love.

My husband and I met at a dance club and fell in love almost over night. He was in the military and three months later he deployed for 15 months. When he returned we married and then had to move to alaska. From there he was deployed 2 more times. in the first five years of our marriage we only got to spend 26 months together. His last deployment his humv got hit with an IED and many people were injured and killed. He survied the expolsion and finally got to come home. After several month in the hospital he got to come home with me. We finally got to have the child that we longedfor and now we are pregnant again and we fall more in love with each other every single day!
