I
usually fully enjoy every sex scene I
write. However, sometimes it’s a challenge to write “Tab A” going into “Slot B”
in new and exciting ways. I tend to write a lot of kink, so it’s probably
easier for me to find interesting and arousing ways to keep things new and
different than it is for a strictly vanilla author, but sometimes it’s still a
challenge.
This
is yet another reason I’m having so much fun writing paranormal romance. Add in
telepathy for some couples, the ability to exchange energy, or for their souls
to actually merge during orgasm… and let’s not forget the magic of a vampire
bite. Yes, writing paranormal sex scenes is a whole lot more fun than writing
sex between mere humans.
I’ve
probably heard the most reader comments regarding the fact my werewolves can
alter the size of their appendages. The basic mass has to stay the same, but
they can make things longer and narrower, or shorter and fatter. The former is
good when breaking in an anal virgin, the latter is fun when they want to add a
touch of pain. Oh, and my werewolves can do this with their tongues, as well.
Oral sex takes on completely new dimensions when your partner’s tongue can
suddenly get a whole lot longer.
We
first met Darnell in Ghost’s story. We know he’s a former Navy SEAL, and a
werewolf. Here’s a small sample of what he can do:
I pulled out and
flipped her around, pressed her knees to the bed near her ears, and drove my
cock back into her ass with no warning or fanfare. Her eyes locked wide open at
the unexpected entry, and I leaned in to kiss her. “Love you. Want to see you
while I pound your ass… but first…” I pulled my head back a few inches and let
my cock grow wider.
“Fuck… yes. Yeeessss, Darnell. Only you can do this. Fuck. Please.”
I went wider and
scented a layer of pain with her arousal, but it was sweet pain, not bitter, so
I let myself go even wider. Her mouth made a silent O and she stopped
breathing, but I didn’t remind her. I’ve learned her body will figure it out
and do whatever is necessary to keep the bliss going.
Before she could
get used to the new size, I slowly pulled out, millimeter by millimeter. She
was on the edge of an orgasm and I didn’t want to send her over, but I loved
keeping her like this, where it was almost too much and yet she didn’t want me
to back off.
Two times out and
back in slow, and then I let her have it…. I yanked out, slammed in, and kept
going. God, she was so warm, so inviting, and crazy under me, writhing, twisting, and pulsing as I went in and
out, in and out. I slowed every once in a while, when I thought she might need
a second for her senses to catch up, but otherwise, I let her have more of me
than I’ve ever been able to give a human.
Also,
the lions in my world have spiked penises, but the spikes only come out when
they’re with another lion.
But
the best part of putting two wolves together is the metaphysical emotional
exchange during sex. In my world, the paranormal aspect comes into play in a
myriad of ways, but it still comes down to the characters — who they are, their
wants and needs, how they communicate..
If
I’m not having fun writing it, I need to back up and regroup, and I’ve had a
blast writing this series.
What’s
your favorite part of paranormal romance? The hot alpha guys, obviously… but
beyond that? What does it for you?
