Hello, and thank you Fang-tastic Books for having me here today. It's a pleasure.
What inspired your story?
I had wanted to create a collection of erotic fairy tale retellings ever since I published two previous fairy tales. "Trouble In Thigh High Boots" (erotic Puss In Boots) and "Climbing Her Tower" (erotic Rapunzel) were so much fun to write that I started work on the collection a few years ago. Several of my short erotic fairy tales had already been published in anthologies or magazines, so I added more to fill out the book.
Did you always want to be a writer? If not what did you want to be?
I wanted to be an actress when I was a child. I had taken acting classes in high school, and I had hoped to see my name in lights someday. While I could act, I discovered I liked crew work much better. The pay was better. I controlled my work hours. Crew work was much less strain on my self esteem. The work was steady. I worked lighting for the movies "12 Monkeys" and "Die Hard With A Vengeance". I also did makeup including FX for the acclaimed TV series "Homicide: Life on the Street".
After doing crew work, I decided to try writing since I had been writing fiction and essays since I was a child. I started out as a feminist essayist who focused on family issues and later I covered female sexuality. I wrote sex toys reviews and articles about sex and romance. When I worked for a sex toys company in the U. K., I wrote product descriptions, articles about sex toys and practices, and I used S. E. O. when writing to attract the attention of search engines.
In 2007, I published my first short story. I had seen a submission call for erotic short stories. I had written one about how Cinderella's life after marriage to her Handsome Prince wasn't happily ever after. A magical sex coach helped her discovered what she needed in her marriage. The story was accepted, to my utter shock and surprise. I was delighted! I received £200 for my efforts. This story appears in my latest release, "Happily Ever After: Twisted Versions of Your Favorite Fairy Tales". Since then, I've written many sexy and romantic novels and novellas as well as numerous short erotic stories. I've also written dark fiction and horror – short stories so far. I'm working on a horror novel, and I'm brainstorming a women's fiction novel. As you can see, I stay busy!
How long did it take to get your first book published?
My first book, the paranormal erotic romance "An Unexpected Guest", went through several hurdles before finally being published. The first publisher that accepted the book folded about a month before the book was to go live. It was homeless. I submitted the book to several other publishers before it finally found a new home. Then, that publisher folded before the book was to go live.
I couldn't catch a break. This entire ordeal was very frustrating.
Third time was the charm, though. Yet another small press chose the book, and it's been for sale there ever since.
I was much more fortunate with my two erotic retellings of fairy tales. "Trouble In Thigh High Boots" is my sexy version of Puss In Boots. "Climbing Her Tower" is my sexy version of Rapunzel. These two books were banned by Amazon during an erotic book purge in 2012, and I directed everyone to Smashwords to buy it. In one case, one of my publisher's entire catalogue was given the ban hammer by Amazon. Once that mess was straightened out, and my books were once again available at Amazon, my sales went up. The ruckus inspired a lot of interest. I've since published many short stories and novels, but these two fairy tales remain special to me. So special I had to create a collection of erotic fairy tales – which I have done with my book "Happily Ever After: Twisted Versions of Your Favorite Fairy Tales".
What genres do you normally write in?
I write erotic romance, romance, dark fiction and horror. But not at the same time, LOL.
Is there a genre you haven’t written in that one day you’d like to tackle?
Mystery. I love solving puzzles. I'm a huge fan of the mysteries on BritBox and I enjoy reading cozies. My husband and I enjoy those Hallmark cozy mystery movies. Brainless fun.
What was the first book you ever published?
My first book was the aforementioned "An Unexpected Guest". I wrote that book about a decade ago. Since then, I've written numerous short stories and several novels, including the aforementioned erotic fairy tale novellas and "Full Moon Fever", my paranormal erotic shifter romance set in the world of the theater. I based this book on my days as a union stagehand. You may find all of these books at Amazon.
What was the craziest thing you’ve ever done when it came to a storyline in your book?
I created a character based on my husband for a short horror story – and I killed him off! He loved it. That story is one of his favorites. It's called "Infection" and it appears in the anthology "Teeming Terrors".

Excerpt
– Call of the Piper
"Kiss me
there once more." Henry begged.
"Only if
you let me fuck you again."
"I won't
stop you."
Henry Mountjoy
stretched on his bed as the young man's mouth wrapped around his engorged cock.
He fisted the bed sheets, ready to burst for the second time that afternoon
from the best mouth fucking he'd ever had. As that tongue flicked along his
shaft, Henry arched his back, stirred by the expertise of his lover. Thin
fingers fondled his balls, rolling them around like hacky sacks, and the man
played Henry's cock as if it were a skin flute. Stars burst behind his closed
eyes, and his pulse beat hard in his throat. Every nerve on his body tingled
with excitement.
No one had ever
made love to him with such finesse, certainly none of the village women. No
matter now nubile they appeared they stirred no passion in Henry yet he
pretended to enjoy their ministrations only to keep his father at bay. He'd
enjoyed secret trysts with an occasional butcher and even one veterinarian, but
none had affected him the way this man had. The man who tended to his ache
arrived in the town only three days earlier, but the instant attraction drove
Henry mad until the fellow accosted him in a deserted room in the manor house.
"I want you
inside me again." Henry said.
"Of course,
you do. Turn over."
Fragrant oil
dribbled down his ass, and within moments the man entered him; first just the
tip until Henry adjusted to his girth, and then he slowly slid his entire cock
inside. Henry craved the filled-up sensation from this man whose cock was so
huge it threatened to cleave him in two. Henry had entertained all manner of
pricks, but this man's far surpassed the rest. Not only was he large, he knew
what to do with it. After several swipes at his sweet spot deep inside, the
build-up of arousal overwhelmed Henry, who shot his load all over the clean
cotton sheets. His lover pounded hard, driving that stake home until he came
with a cry. Warm cum dripped down Henry's ass and cooled against his thighs.
The young man rolled off Henry and took him in his arms, two becoming one in
the afterglow of their lovemaking.
"Was it
good?" The young man asked.
"What?"
"Your
hearing is terrible. I asked 'Was it good?'"
"Are you
kidding? You're incredible."
He smiled.
"I try."
"So, when
are you going to tell me your name? Even my father doesn't know your name and he
hired you to drive away the rats in town."
"My name
isn't important. You may call me the Pied Piper."
"That's not
a name, that's a title. Aren't you called Lucas or Jeffrey or something more
exotic like Erasmus?"
"No."
"So, what
am I to call you?"
"Call me
'Master'".
