I love writing the Vampire Kisses series. The wonderful thing about writing a series is seeing the characters grow, the plots twist and turn, and relationships intertwine.
When I originally wrote Vampire Kisses, I didn't imagine it would become a series. After it was released, I was asked to write a second and third book! I was thrilled!
For Kissing Coffins, I wanted to write more about the back story of Alexander's arrival in Dullsville--that he'd left Romania because he didn't want a covenant ceremony with a girl he wasn't in love with--that girl being Luna Maxwell.
I've always been fascinated with bond between twins and I thought it was cool to explore it--especially if one was born a vampire and one a mortal.
By the seventh book, Jagger and Luna have now become very important characters in the series. Not only do they add conflict, but Raven gets to see a side of the vampire life she hadn't seen before she met Luna. Now that she's also encountered Valentine, Onyx and Scarlet, Raven gets a unique view of the Underworld.
With the upcoming release of LOVE BITES, we will be introduced to Alexander's best friend, Sebastian Camden. Just when Raven thinks she's learned all she can and her vampire adventures might be over, she realizes that they may have only begun.
Raven is always faced with new experiences regarding her true dream--to become a vampire. Is her fangtasticö dream really worth the reality?
