Me and Hubby at the Flint Vampire Ball

So I haven't written a Monday Musings post in forever.

I figured today was a great day to do it because of the Vampire Ball this past weekend.

I had a blast- it was so much fun.

I danced the night away then spent Sunday complaining about my feet and knees hurting. Boy it sucks getting older. If I were really a vampire I wouldn't have to complain about the mundane atrocities of aging.

Oh well it was worth it. I don't get to go out and have fun very often.

I hope other people had lots of fun at the Vampire Ball, too.

Three winners won their tote bags full of books- thanks again to all the awesome authors who donated books (see link list to the left to see all the authors who donated).

I am already planning for next year- I hope to donate many more books and goodies for door prizes. Next year I think I'll toss in some t-shirts and hats and I'll start collecting for door prizes from authors and companies early.

The Flint Vampire Ball is a great event- and it's to raise money for the Flint Farmer's Market. So it's a worthy cause as well.

I hope to see some of you there next year.
