Howdy all, I wanted to start with a great big thank you for allowing me to talk about my book, Hexes in Texas. I had so much fun getting to know my characters. There is Julie, my Canadian witch who wants excitement, and Vance who wants true love. But I think my favorite character has to be Skippy, with his cool cat vibe and sarcastic wit. What started out as a search for ghost towns in Texas, turned into a story about adventure and romance in a hidden community of witches.

Book Description:
Fed up with the slushy snow of winter, and the frigid Canadian wizards Julie McNabb wants a transfer to somewhere warm, and where the men are smoking hot!
Instead, she ends up in Bug Tussle. A small wizard farming community in Texas where the unicorns freak her out, and the resident witches watch NASCAR and eat Barbeque.
Despite her goals to get out as fast as she can, Julie makes friends, has fun, and falls for Vance, the hunky animal manager.
Now if only Julie can convince Vance to give up on Mrs. Right, for Mrs. right now!
About the Author:
I’m a Canadian Texan, a Doctor Who loving devotee (I don’t have a favorite, I love all 11 of the doctors), and destroyer of tomato plants.
I tend to live in my own little fantasy world. Where characters pop in for tea, telling me their stories, and won’t leave me alone until I at least plot it out for them.
Thankfully, my husband and children are used to my brand of crazy. They even encourage me to write the silly stuff in my head into real stories. Although my son will say there is too much kissing going on!

I love this book, Michelle! It was laugh out loud funny. You really give the characters great personalities.
Thanks Allison :)
