Book Trailer for Mr Darcy, Vampyre and My Own Attempts at Trailer Making

Check out the cool new book trailer for Mr Darcy, Vampyre

You know, book trailers are the hot new thing in book promotion.

I am playing with making one for Eternal Desire but I have no idea what I am doing and I'm afraid it is totally going to suck. It's not easy finding royalty free images or music that fit with the story line and than have it all fit together. Plus I have no idea how to manipulate photos and all that. It's like I only have half the software I need.

I think I might cave and get someone to do it for me, yet then I will feel defeated because I really like being able to do things myself. Oh well, sometimes you have to hand things off to the experts.

I am going to play around some more before I give up.

I found a site recommended in Red Hot Internet Publicity by Penny C. Sansevieri to get music from- Garageband.com. We'll see how that plays out.

News: Sourcebooks Announces Mr Darcy, Vampyre and News About My Zombie Valentine from Dorchestor Authors

Katie MacAlister, Angie Fox, Marianne Mancusi and Lisa Cach are getting together for a fun new paranormal anthology to be released January 2010.

My Zombie Valentine will feature love stories involving...zombies, a breed of supernatural creatures that have really been popping up more and more lately. I don't know if zombies would be my first choice, but hey everyone has their preferences and it sounds like a fang-tastic collection.

Sourcebooks Landmark Announces New Major Release:

NAPERVILLE, IL (June 10, 2009) — Sourcebooks Landmark, the leading publisher of Jane Austen-related fiction, is excited to announce a major release in the category: Mr. Darcy, Vampyre by international bestselling author Amanda Grange.

Amanda Grange’s style and wit bring readers back to Jane Austen’s timeless storytelling, but always from a very unique and unusual perspective, and now Grange is back with an exciting and completely new take on Mr. Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet in Mr. Darcy, Vampyre.

“Amanda Grange is our internationally bestselling author of Mr. Darcy's Diary,” says Sourcebooks acquisitions editor Deb Werksman, “and we were so excited when she came to us last year with this brilliant vision for an altered Darcy. Amanda starts where Pride and Prejudice ends and introduces a dark family curse so perfectly that the result is a delightfully thrilling, spine-chilling, breathtaking read. A dark, poignant and visionary continuation of Austen’s beloved story, this tale is full of danger, darkness and immortal love.”

Sourcebooks has announced an on-sale date of August 11, and a 75,000 copy first print run.
