It's time for another vampire-esque poem. This week we have another from Wenona Napolitano.
If anyone would like to submit their poetry to appear here please email the poems to eroticroxanne at yahoo dot com, include in the body of the email please.
I can't pay but I don't care if the poem has been published before or if you want to publish it again, you keep all rights to it.
When you email the poetry to me please include a line that says (cut and paste this one)
"I grant Fang-tastic Books permission to publish my poem ________ and I certify that the poem is mine and I hold the rights to it."
Then electronically sign your name.
Thanks.
Darkman
By Wenona Napolitano
Lying in the darkness
I reach for the light
All I find are shadows
Endless in the night
In the night he comes
Knocking on my door
Deadly as he is
He leaves me wanting more
I know I shouldn’t want him
The addiction that he is
Yet I surrender to him
I will always be his
Damned into eternity
To him I am bound
He’s buried me in darkness
The light will never be found
