Review of Saloon Girl Costume from Wholesale Costume Club

Description from Wholesale Costume Club, the best club for

 costumes:

Adult Saloon Girl Costume

You'll be the slickest and sexiest girl in Dodge City when you wear this stunning Adult Saloon Girl Plus Costume. The days of the Wild Wild West will return when you don this working girl outfit that consists of a lovely sash for your head, a dark skirt, a vest, and a shirt complete a sassy number that is sure to steer the men your way before the next cattle drive. The salon girl outfit fits plus sizes only from 18 to 22. You can add to the charm and sex appeal of this fantastic outfit with Back Queen Size Seamed Fishnet Pantyhose or Plus Size Red Patty Panties for Adults, either is an excellent choice for this outfit. Adult Black Patent Mary Jane Shoes make for a great crowning touch on an outfit you'll enjoy at costume parties and Halloween blow-outs throughout the year.

So I'm already on the hunt for costumes- yes I know it's only May but I need a costume for the Authors After Dark Ball in August. I'm not sure what I'm going to wear.

I found this Saloon girl costume and it's very sexy and fun.
I love how flirty it is.  It showcases my assets perfectly ;-) and it's my favorite color combination...red and black. The only thing I don't like is the corset style vest thing-it's not tight enough or corsety enough but I can slip a real corset under it to tighten things up for the perfect look.

I'm thinking the costume might work for New Orleans, especially if I steampunk it up a little bit.

Maybe. I don't know. I think I want something more Victorian for AAD

However this costume won't go to waste, not with all the Halloween events and parties I'll be going to this year.

I'm still putting together Flint Fang Fest which is full of Halloween vampire and paranormal events, I could probably wear it to one of those.

Maybe hubby and I can go as a Vampire Cowboy and a Vampire Saloon Girl :-)

Now I guess I have to go searching for a Cowboy costume for him- he has a hat and boots, we just need a few accessories. I'm sure Wholesale Costume Club has some things we can use.

If you're looking for fun costumes I highly suggest The Wholesale Costume Club, this Saloon Girl costume sells for only $33.96.

And they have everything: children's costumes, men's costumes, women's costumes and plus size costumes.

A Review of Jack the Ripper Costume from Wholesale Halloween Costumes

When I seen this costume I knew it was the one I had to get for my husband this year. He can wear it to the Witches Ball and the Vampire Ball.

Classic 1800's style- perfect for Jack the Ripper- or a classic vampire look ala Interview with a Vampire or even Dracula.

Love it.

So when I was offered the chance to review for Wholesale Halloween Costumes this year I went straight to the Halloween Costumes for Men.

Sure enough they had it available.

I ordered it. It recently arrived and we are very pleased with the cape ensemble. It'll go perfectly with a pair of black pants and a nice shirt underneath- all of which my husband has.

Unfortunately the hat looks nothing like what it is in the photo. The hat we received is a floppy foamy creation that will not stand up. The hat in the image looks like a nice solid top hat. I couldn't do anything to make the top hat stand up. Maybe if I had a steamer I could coax it back into shape. It came all squished in the costume package.

Anyway we hit a local Halloween store and found a nice solid top hat for less than $6- so we're still very happy.

The hubby is going to look fabulous.

Be sure to check out WholesaleHalloweenCostumes.com, you can buy costumes for a fraction of the suggested retail price.

There's still plenty of time to shop and receive your costume before Halloween. You can even get 2 day flat rate delivery for less than $7 to most locations. If you place your order before 1pm your costume will be shipped out that day.

Here are the details for the Mens Jack the Ripper CostumeItem #CC01132

  • Features a double-breasted vest, a cloak, hat and jabot.
  • Pants, walking stick, dagger, mutton chops and shoes not included.
  • Glasses sold separately.

A Review of the Count Bloodthirst Vampire Costume from Wholesale Costume Club

When I got to choose my review costume from Wholesale Costume Club my husband was also able to pick one out for review.

After searching through men's costumes and plus size costumes he finally settled on the Count BloodThirst costume.

This is one he had been looking at last year but we didn't order it. He ended up just wearing a red dress shirt and skull tie to the Flint Vampire Ball.

Now both of us are all set for this year's Flint Vampire Ball.

Hubby tried on the costume and it looks great on him- much better than on the guy in the picture :-)

This vampire costume features a waistcoat style shirt with chain trim. The long sleeve shirt is actually attached to the waistcoat/vest- it's all in one. The cape is black satin with a blood-red lining. It also comes with a red satin scarf that hangs from the neck of the shirt for a little extra vampiric flare.

Hubby has plenty of black dress pants and dress shoes so he's good to go. He's thinking about adding one of those stylish walking sticks though just to give the whole thing a bit more style.

We are going to be a stunning pair of vampires this year.

Be sure to check out Wholesale Costume Club when you're shopping for Halloween costumes, you'll be amazed at the variety and selection they have- something for the whole family...and at great wholesale prices.

Review of the Gothic Vampira Costume at Wholesale Costume Club

I was recently able to choose a costume to review from Wholesale Costume Club.

They have a huge selection of women's costumes- including plus size Halloween costumes so I had a lot to choose from.

I finally settled on the above Gothic Vampira costume- beautiful isn't it?

I love the velvet and the lace. It even came with a petticoat skirt to wear underneath the dress to make it pouf out.

I took my measurements and discovered the size I needed wasn't available so I had to order it a size or two too big but that's alright too big is better than too small. My mother can easily take in a few seams and pull up a few spots to make it fit just right.

Add some heels and (maybe) it won't drag on the floor. Hard to tell, I'm short. :-)

I just had to have this costume. I've been eying since last year so when the chance to came to review a costume I decided on this one- even if the size was off.

Now if I didn't have a seamstress to help me fix it well then I probably would have chosen this costume- another vampire costume just not as detailed as this beautiful red and black ensemble.

If you are shopping for a Halloween costume I highly recommend WholesaleCostumeClub.com. I've been shopping around and this site has the best prices even without paying for the $5 membership. On any other site this Gothic Vampira costume is over $100- some places as much as $130.

On WholesaleCostumeClub.com it's $97.98 without a membership $85.96 with a membership.

A membership is only $5 so by purchasing a membership you're still getting $7 off the non-membership price.

If you're buying more than one costume the membership is the way to go for sure. You can end up saving a bundle.

Review of Goth Witch Costume and Wholesale Costume Club Membership Giveaway

Sure Halloween may be months from now but it's never to early to start planning your costume or your Halloween party.

With Halloween being my favorite holiday it's never far from my mind, so when I was offered a chance to review Halloween costumes I jumped on it.

The Wholesale Costume Club sent me this Goth Maiden Witch costume to review.

It's pretty nice, I picked it out for my daughter because she was coveting a similar one last Halloween. I call it the green witch because of it's wicked green accents. She absolutely loves it. It is slightly big on her but once I lace up the front and tie it in the back it looks great. She's going to make an awesomely wicked Witch this Halloween.

The Wholesale Costume Club has a huge selection of costumes for everyone in your family.

I am still sorting through all the Women's Costumes trying to decide which one I want. They have two or three vampire costumes that I really like so I am trying to narrow it down to just one. I seen a couple for the hubby too. I haven't had a chance to scroll through all the kids costumes yet to see of there are any for my little guy (who is now 4, my little monkey man turned four this past Friday, hmmm I wonder of they have any monkey costumes :-).

The prices for Halloween costumes are super reasonable at The Wholesale Costume club. See the deal is you pay for a membership and you can buy the costumes for a great low rate. The membership prices are at least $5 cheaper than the regular rate (so that covers your membership price) but the deal comes when you have more than 1 costume to buy. Like for me I have a family of 5 to buy Halloween costumes for so the membership price really makes a difference when shopping for more than one costume.

Even if you don't buy a membership the prices are still cheap because they are priced as Wholesale Halloween Costumes.

The Goth Maiden Witch Costume I received for my daughter retails for around $55, that's pretty close to the price I found it for last Halloween at the stores. The non-member price at Wholesale Costume Club is $37.98 the member price is $32.46. Wow, what a great price and way cheaper than at the Halloween stores that pop up all over the place in September.

I mean you can't really find a decent costume for under $30 anywhere. The witch costume I got my daughter is made with a crushed velvet-like fabric and satin. It doesn't look or feel like some of those cheap costumes you find at the stores. This one is a classic witch style with modern, fun accents.

And the hat is very cool, it's a sturdy classic pointy witch hat that you can wear with the tip pointing straight up or you can crush the hat a bit and have the tip sitting at a crooked and jaunty angle. The hat also has some feathers, a flower and some sheer fabric that give it that extra pizazz and an updated femininely witchy appeal. Now she justs needs a sparkly broom and she'll be the best dressed witch this Halloween.

Have you started planning your Halloween costume yet?
If not, I can help.
