Monday Musings: April 19, 2010

So I had a rough weekend, nothing quite went the way I wanted it. I blame it all on Mercury going retrograde.

I still have not managed to get my son's senior collage put together- photo editing software hates me. (thankfully the wonderfully sweet author Jeremy Edwards has offered to save my butt and put the collage together for me- which I am totally taking him up on that offer. Isn't he amazing? If you love erotica check out his blog)

Have I mentioned me and technology do not get along? It took me years to start using a computer. I still have no luck with printers- they keep dying on me.

I am the type of person that has never been able to wear a watch. They stop working, they don't work right, eyc so I gave up. Seems that other high tech items don't last around me either.

sigh

So since I wasted a lot of time on a collage that is still not finished I didn't get much done on my to-do list. Nor did I have much pleasure time. I did end up with one hell of a headache though.

Monday Musings: November 9, 2009

So I've been sick all weekend. What a waste because it was so beautiful outside yet I couldn't get past the bed and the sofa to enjoy any of it.

I am still feeling like death warmed over but that's a huge improvement over how I was feeling all weekend.

I would like to apologize to all my contest winners because I have not mailed out your prizes yet due to my kids then me getting sick.

I will try to make it to the post office today.

Most of the weekend is a blur of fuzzy headedness. I kept trying to do things but would end up dizzy or just staring blankly into space. I finally gave up.

So not much to talk about as far as the weekend goes.

However I do have a few announcements to get out before I forget them.

My Halloween story "A Halloween to Remember" will be published through Excessica Publishing in September 2010.

I have three stories to be published January 18, 2010 in the BetterSex.com Fiction contest when the links are up I'll be sending you all over there to read the stories and vote on your favorite

So onto the Monday Musings...

How is everyone faring after all the Halloween hoopla? Or Samhain festivities?

Coming down from a sugar high anyone? Maybe still suffering from a hangover?

I am just tired. Glad to be done with some things but sad to see Halloween go. Mainly because that means now it is going to be cold, cold, cold. And the nastiest of all four letters words (snow) could be just around the corner.

That also means the holidays are coming. Make sure to check out my request for holiday themed paranormal and erotic books. I want to showcase holiday themed books on both my sites throughout December.

Did everyone get their fill of Halloween theme shows and vampire stuff? Vampire Diaries was interesting, do you think Vicki is actually dead for real or is this crazy chick going to resurface again? This chick has had more lives than a cat, I wouldn't be surprised if Damon tucked her away somewhere to bring her back...Who knows?

I watched some Halloween classics with the kids like The Haunted Mansion.

And of course we went trick or treating and froze our butts off. At least it wasn't raining. You just never know in Michigan. A couple years ago it was so warm we didn't even need coats but some years we've trick or treated in the snow. Crazy. This year it was cold and windy but not overly freezing, yet cold enough.
